Quickwrite

This is my, this week´s quickwrite. This is not real, so don't worry.  Hope you Enjoy, Even though its a tinny bit violent. ENJOY...

Why did it look like everybody wanted her to make a Speech?  ¨-a... hi.  I am tsuami, wait, No.  TSUNAMI.¨  She settled her wings down, but made sure to give a flash of her royal pattern.  Then she heard a splash.  But not a down splash, an up one.  She looked up, and saw the royal patterns.  Mother, her head acked, just wanting to see her face.  The giant, sea blue dragon, tilted Its head in Tsunami's direction.  ¨My Baby!!¨ cried the queen.  ¨How long has it been.¨

 It was more a statement than a question.  ¨nevermind, nevermind. It doesn't matter.¨ she said, ¨why, how un-bejeweled you are!!  HERE, HERE.¨ she said, handing over her own, biggest, pearl necklace. 

Well, that's the beginning of it. At least. Ever since then, Tsunami has found out many more secrets about her mother that were not good.  Such as, her mother had a secret weapon.  Her own daughter.  She didn't even care that Tsunami's sister, Anemone, Might lose her soul, and go evil like her 2000 year old ancestor, Albatross.  She had found out, also, that she would leave dying warriors standing there for an entire council meeting.  She decides to lie, and chain up all of Tsunami's friends in a cave and leave them to drown.  She found out her mother would yank out another dragon's teeth, one by one, for failing. Then smash them against the solid rock, killing her. OH, Noo.  What if I become a queen like that? Like mother...

Polar Animals: The Snow Fox

This week my quick write was based on polar animals, and for me, I chose snow foxes.

You might be wondering why I didn't choose a ¨cooler¨ animal, but you'll soon find out.  Their more curious, and sneaky, than we think.

My Sign/Tribute Art

Recently my class has been working on signs of old Aotearoa history around were we live.  Me and my friend Kale´a are in a group on a famous horse and his owner.  the name of our sign is Tore te A-Hoiho-John.  

We started by painting the base blue.  That was our base colour.  Then, while I was gone Kale´a had to work on the project alone. She made the grass alone, she thinks that it's to long.  I think it's perfect.  In the days after that (Mainly Yesterday) we added in the ocean, a GIANT rugby ball, a rugby goal that's smaller than the ball, the clouds and sun, a title, and last but certainly not least, The horse himself.  We've only done the out line.

The only reason were not finished is because, Kale´a started to draw the horses leg, but I pointed out it was to long.  Me and Kale´a burst into hysterical giggles.  We went outside to paint over it, but had to do it 3 times for it not to show.  Only because Kale´a did it in vivid.  When it was finally gone Kale´a painted the Ocean while I did white wash.  Then I drew the Rugby ball and we painted it.  The post was simple so I just did 3 lines, and the clouds are done too.  Me and Kale´a also found the perfect orangey-beige colour for the sun.

I Just painted the horse a pale beige with a blue mane and black saddle.  The teacher told us we have to make it paler, the beige, though.

CAMP!!

In week 7 I went to yr 6 camp.  First, we went up, to run the confidence course.  Apparently, we were the fastest group that the teachers had ever made do that.  We also went on a hike every day,  so we got really fit.  The biggest walk, was up Panekiri Bluff.  YIKES!  In the afternoon, we went kayaking if we had enough time.  We always did, so we went every day.  Then we headed home, in the fanciest bus ever!

Endangered Animals

This week I´m telling you about endangered animals. If you don't know what endangered means it means there aren't many left.  Did you know there are only 3,900 tigers left in the world??  That's not many when you think about it.  The most endangered animals are Tigers, Rhinos, Polar Bears, Pandas and Grizzly Bears.

The reason they're endangered is actually because of us.  Humans hunt animals for their fur and skins and that's why they are going extinct.  We need to stop hunting them because they help us stay alive.  They seem scary but there not really, there just protecting themselves.

Please don't encourage others to hunt them and don't hunt them yourself so they don´t go extinct. Please help me protect them.
