Penguin Boxes

Check out our Gisborne Herald article about our penguin boxes her
Our Inquiry Topic is: This term we made little Blue Penguin boxes. It was fun using our abblitty. We did this because our Inquiry topic is Actions speak louder than words. We also did it so the populations increase. We placed our penguin boxes. We placed them on the sand dunes. To monitor our penguin boxes we make sure the entrance is clear. We do that so they aren’t trapped in side. Nga Manu Waiata will further support us by engaragging us. Also by help putting trapps by them.

Room 5 Tunnel Data

This term in Room 5 we've been learning about pests.
All the people in the class took home a tunnel.
There was a list of names and when we bought our tunnel back we
highlighted our names.
Not all of us got something but most people did.

We have been learning about pests in our community.

The least common pest was a Hedgehog.

The most common pest was a rat.

Most people in room 5 got nothing.
